just seems like he dropped off the map.
will he ever make it in a mainstream film? why/why not?

I know what you mean Has he done anything worth watching since "Buffy"..? To be fair, I found "First Daughter" surprisingly enjoyable. But, I sat through "Deadline" last night and that was dire He's gorgeous and a decent actor - it would be nice to see him getting better rles.

Well, he's currently a regular on Necessary Roughness. Season two starts in June.

He went from a couple seasons on a low-rated tv show to appearing in 10+ theatrically released films. Not really dropping off the map.

Small part..but he was in Kevin Smith's Red State. He also had a cameo in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. He works quite a bit.. But until Necessary Roughness his work was a lil on and off the radar. He showed up in Knight and Day opposite Tom Cruise and Cameron DDiaz.

He's terrific in Jane Austen Book5b4 Club movie. He definitely holds his own with film's exceptional actors. Romantic, ensemble exploration of what love truly is and how to make it last.
