Trivia changed - some sort of terrible misunderstanding!!!

Jees. so now she got found out for not being 'Miss Teen America', the trivia section now says 'Contrary to a popular trivia item, she was never named Miss Teen California, nor had she ever participated in the pageant'.
Well gee - that sounds like it was all some terrible misunderstanding. But a clip from this interview from Stuff magazine means that either Caprice, or the magazine, are wannabe fibbers who wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and bit them on the butt!
STUFF: What was it like to be a teen beauty queen?
Caprice: Its so California. Its a normal thing therelots of my friends entered the pageants. In Europe, its a whole different mentality. When I told my Brit friends about the Miss Teen California contest, they totally mocked it.
S: Did you take it seriously, then?
No, it was a load of crap. But you do these things when youre a little girl. Its very expensive, and theres a lot of pressure on you. I had to go to classes twice a week for, like, five hours to learn how to win. You learn to smile and what to say when they ask you whats your favorite color and why.
S: Is there a correct answer to that?
I told my teacher I would say green because it looks good on me. He said, Oh, you cant say that. No, you have to say, Green, because it reminds me of peace and tranquility. I thought, Give me a beep break. But I said it, and I won.
S: How was life after you relinquished your principles for the crown?
I was Miss Teen California. I had to do parades and openings and wave and, you know, the things that a beauty queen does. God, Im glad those days are over.
