TO SEEKANDANNOY:
I love that you brought up Eddie Izzard!!I just adore him.Funniest man alive!
On the Nick-gay thing..I don't think he is.He's been married for a few years and also he just doesn't have that gay vibe. -

I'll not try to correct your grammar, but I
will
attempt to correct your perception.
Your post gives the impression that all you know about these two subjects is from watching the news coverage of gay pride parades. Coverage that generally concentrates on the most flamboyantly costumed people visible while ignoring the more mainstream majority.
As others have tried to explain, homosexuality and transvestism are two completely different and unrelated things. There is a surprisingly small overlap (surprising to you, anyway): some cross-dressers are gay,
others aren't
; some gay men cross-dress,
most don't
.
Your post creates such a perception of shallowness that I must conclude with this Gilbert & Sullivan line:
On the subject, I pray you, be dumb! Your notions, 'though many, Are not worth a penny; The word for your guidance is "Mum!"
Sic transit gloria mundi,
sometimes Tuesday is worse.

Eddie Izzard wears make up and women's clothes. He's not gay.
But only for performing. And don't forget Barry Humphries better known to audiences the world around as
Dame Edna Everage
and also straight. -

Why would playing a gay person automatically make someone gay? Aly Hannigan played Willow, who dated both Tara and Kennedy, and is happily married to Alexis Denisof from Angel.

My god these things are so funny. There is a "is he gay" post on almost every actor's message board.

Giles-"It appears to be paranormal in origin."
Willow-"How can you tell?"
Giles-"Well, it's so shiny." -

there's a good chance that his twin may be. in every set of identical twins, there is a 50% chance that one twin is gay. if one twin does happen to be gay, then there is a 25% chance of the other twin being gay too. those are some odds, don't you think? Hey, if Nic isn't gay, I'd take his brother!!!

OY!
I'd never heard of any study to determine if there was an increased likelihood of one (or both) of a pair of twins being gay.
Where did you find these statistics? Tarot cards? A Ouija board? Astrological signs? Lobachevsky's paper on
Analytic and Algebraic Topology of Locally Euclidean Parameterization of Infinitely Differentiable Riemannian Manifold
?
If
either (or both) of them
is
(are) gay, he (they) will c1354ome out when he is (they are) good and ready. Until then, those "statistics" should work better than
"Miracle-Grow"
on your lawn and garden.

Wow that's some impressive statistics too bad you pulled them out of your ass. Both Nicky and Kelly either are or have recently been married and have had a fair few girlfriends and at 38 I think they'd both know by now if they were gay
Don't reply to me if your wanting an answer from someone else, i'm not someone else -

Right!
He must be gay because he played a gay character in
Psycho Beach Party
(2000).
After all,
"everybody knows that only a gay actor could/would play a gay character."
Except that the character he played
wasn't
gay.
Please allow me to refer you to a few other movies and the straight actors who
did
play gay characters:
Wedding Wars
(2006)
John Stamos
In & Out
(1997)
Kevin Kline
Tom Selleck
Birdcage
(1996)
Robin Williams
Hank Azaria
Jeffrey
(1995)
Steven Weber
Michael T Weiss
Patrick Stewart
The Sum of Us
(1994)
Russell Crowe

we
are.

Well, the problem is that certain people will automatically assume that anybody who plays a gay or lesbian character in a movie, TV show, video game, et al is gay/lesbian in reality which is untrue.
