Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Bobby Brown

I was watching the Bobby Brown music video 'Girl Next Door' from 1987 on youtube and I realised Bobby looked so much better when he was leaner and more toned. He seriously needs to go back to his old weight around that time.
Even if you look at the Roni video, he doesn't have an ounce of body fat, it's healthier to be a guy and be this way, makes you look more photogenic. His image was so much better at the peak of his career, with some hard work and determination, he can get a lot of it back.

Oh yeah I agree. I know when people get older then get lazier and chunkier. Trust me I know I'm 30 years old and I'm starting to gain some of my weight back. Then when you get older it can be hard to loose the weight. I think Bobby can do it if he put his mind to it I too think he look so much better back in the day.

I bet the record company regrets kicking him out of NE. A few more years and they would've realized how his behavior on stage would've been good for the group.
