Gerard Butler is getting ready to begin filming his next movie, Den of Thieves, in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Extras Casting Atlanta, the movie will begin filming on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The company has been posting casting calls looking for stand-ins, men and women with military and law enforcement experience, bad guys, and luxury cars.
According to THR, Den of Thieves focuses on $120 million that is taken out of circulation on a daily basis by the Los Angeles branch of the Federal Reserve and a notorious crew of robbers that plan the ultimate heist right under the noses of the citys best cops. -

this is the only article I can find that lists Butler's role
It's being described in the vein of Heat but it sounds closer to me a variation of Thief w/o the existential1c84ism/Takers
I saw something that stated Butler will be on set 1/9/2017

Would one of Gerry's over protective fans be able to do that, or perhaps his people do read here and contacted admin to take the thread down? Don't we have freedom of speech here anymore? I can't remember the last time a whole thread was deleted, there were some real doozies in the past, plus some not so complimentary to Gerry's acting skills or lack thereof.

I wondered about the thread too. It seemed harmless enough. Maybe the originator of the thread got his/her account deleted or something? Seems like when she-who-must-not-be-named would go off the deep end after some manic r5b4anting episodes about whichever of Butler's girlfriends she was currently hating, she'd delete her account and everything would vanish.

There was a thread with a link to an article/blog/whatever discussing why Butler isn't offered good roles any longer (or something like that). There had been a few replies to the thread, and then it was just gone.
