, he came a little later.
But I'll always associate this all-time favourite with Deep Purple, and the album cover as well.
Thanks to our older sister that she bought the LP back then.

i saw DP in 2009 at a music festival in Budapest, but i think John Lord was the frontman. Whitesnake has some good songs.
I much prefer " child in time" and " Hush" to "smoke on the water." like all 3, but 'smoke' is too overplayed for me -
