Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Barbara Crampton

    KUAlum26 — 20 years ago(November 27, 2005 12:40 PM)

When I was a young lad and it was too hot to play outside during summer,I'd find myself gravitating toward the soapsthis was 1983 and I was too young to have access to porn(forget the Internet)or even "Victoria's Secret" catalogs or "Sports Illustrated" Swimsuit issuesto pass the time. It was then that I first laid eyes upon the lovely Miss Crampton(for whom age has NOT hurt,I must say). I was sad when they killed off her character(who was John deLancie's character. Being a bit of a Trekkie,i've followed has career, too)but thrilled to find out, many years later that SHE was making quite a career playing sexy young thangs in cheap 80s sex comedies, scream queens in European horror films and(big surpise)older sex vixens on Soaps.
IN other words,I've been keen on her soft, blonde feminity for over two decades! It's always great to still see her working.

I remember when she (as Trista) came to Salem, met Eugene, fell in love, and got slashed by the Salem Slasher.
She was so innocent, I felt really bad when the slasher took her life.
Brains are good, especially when sauteed with carmelized onions.
