    Such a shame that they made him put on an American accent in The 100. He couldn't even pull it off very well. His Scottish accent is so heavy, it was obviously difficult to keep the American thing up.
    BUT giving him his native accent would've not only made him more comfortable to play the character, it would also add a bit more of an international feel to the ark. It seems a bit weird that everyone is American, even though during season 1 they allude to the fact that a whole bunch of different countries came together to contribute to the final ark.
    I dunno, I guess I just think it would make his character so much more interesting with his native accent. He should've pushed for it a lot more. Was so good to see it work in LOST. It really could've worked here too.

      I thought the same thing!
      But without geographical borders keeping people apart and accents concentrated, I feel like all the accents would have died out over the 97 years and 3 or 4 gene111crations of descendants.
