Why is her music so bland and nearly all of her songs sound the same! She's got an aura about her that says "I'm a boring person with no personalilty, don't come anywhere near me or you'll fall asleep with my boring persona"!

Actually I think I do know the reason why her music's so bad. She was raised without television. I know it sounds weird., but if I grew up without telly I'd just bugger off round some friend's house to watch, or ask them why we haven't got one.

beacuse bland music sells s**t loads, people buy it for relatives at christmas when they don't have any idea what someone likes, if its popular it cant be bad!
Its appe111cals to anyone who has no interest in music, and theres a lot of them about.
She's a greedy business woman, not an artist! -

My mum calls her type of music "Music For People Who Don't Like Music" if you know what she's talking about. It seems sad that crap like Dildo, Corinne Bailey Rae and Norah Jones sell lots of records of their extremely mediocre music and the trouble is the critics seem to love them. Personally I would like to get a lot of the albums of Jones, Dildo, Bailey Rae and light a huge bonfire, that's the only suitable place for dirge like that!!!
Sorry if I appear to be insulting to people who like that kind of music, but you seriously need to reconsider your musical tastes and "partay down!!!!!" -

Dido is nothing like Corinne Bailey Rae and Norah Jones
Her first album "No angel" does have some v good songs, her type of music just happens to be slow. There is a song on her album called "don't think of me" which isn't as slow and it osunds really good. also there's "Isobel" which is less slow. But her latest album wasn't as good.

Those are some pretty widely differing artists. It's pretty closed-minded and presumptuous of you to purport that anybody who likes Dido must only like artists that are debatable as her "mediocre" contemporaries. Try enjoying what you like and respectfully perpetuate it, because what you're doing does no service to spreading the kind of music that you like and toppling all of the "mediocre dirge".
