This should be made into a movie! Anyone else agrees? I mean, from SNL there have been both good and bad movies, yet most have had really fun moments. Just to name a few: Tommy Boy, Wayne's World, Coneheads, A Night at the Roxbury, Stuart Saves His Family, Mean Girls, Superstar, Beverly Hills Ninja, Ladies Man, Black Sheep. I think MacGruber can make a neat action/comedy movie plus, I can't get enough of MacGruber!

For the most part, SNL based movies don't make alot of money, but alot of them have been pretty funny. It's when SNL actors go on to movies after working on SNL that they make alot of money/ get popular. (As in Will Ferrel- who was extremely lucky to be surrounded after SNL with some top notch talent- Judd Apatow, Adam McKay, ect)
I'd definitely go see a MacGruber movie, but I doubt it could ever get made, the references to MacGyver are so ancient, I don't think the 12-17 category would enjoy it, and that's exactly what went wrong with HOT ROD. (That, and it was a terrible movie)
If you don't agree with something I posted, feel free to make fun of my signature. -

I dont know. Maybe. Since they made the 20 second pointless night at the roxburry skit into a hilarious movie im sure they could do this. The only hard part would be thinking of a plot line that could last an hour 20 minutes. But I could actually see it being really funny but it probably wont make any money at all. Superstar was good id never expect that to make it to a movie but that was funny. Coneheads was pretty hilarious. Yeah I think they could do it. Laser cats would be a much cooler movie though =] But yeah id see macgruber the movie hell yeah.

How in the hell would you do a 70+ minute movie based on skits that are based entirely on the premise of a 10 second countdown? Maybe a couple hundred episodes one after the other?
This is perhaps the most misinformed and poorly thought out idea I have ever seen on IMDB. No, not perhaps, it IS.
