From his guest appearances on Hogan's Heroes to his bits in Yellowbeard, Titanic, etc., he always brightens up any film he is in. I really like him.

Didn't he play one of the elders in Scary Movie 4?

I haven't had the chance to see very many of Bernard Fox's appearances, but I agree with your assessment. Bernard really does brighten any film or program and deserves our recognition and admiration for this - always a fime performace from him.

He really stole every scene he was in Titanic.

I wanted Hogan's Heroes to be changed to Crittinden's Heroes. He made a crazy situation even more crazy.

I came here to look him up wondering how old he was now because I just now saw him again in "The Mummy"

Shame he wasnt used more often on HH. Looking at his list - he was a damn busy guy back in the day - that cant JUST be a good agent.

How about his role as the sheep farmer in BIG JAKE?

Bumping my old thread from a decade ago on the occasion of Bernard Fox's death. He was so likable and charismatic, and it was always a happy surprise when he unexpectedly was in a motion picture or television production that I was watching. Thanks Mr. Fox for all the great times he gave us through his work. We lost a good one, but joins the ranks of the immortals!

Absolutely agree. He's always been a favourite character actor for me.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
