Accents are constant if you don't move around. I speak RP because I grew up in the Oxford, Cambridge and London triangle. I have lived in several countries and still speak RP because it's the only English literally everyone understands.

I have a list of North American actors who do British accents. Anna Friel is typical of the reason I would not bother to put together a list of Brits (and other citizens of the Commonwealth) who do American accents. Because there are so damn many. While watching the TV series "Pushing Daisies" I had no idea she is not American.
I'm currently watching her in the internationally produced series "The Heavy Water War" ("Kampen om tungt vannet"). Is that a southern accent she's using there?
