I was watching the E Hollywood story on Wheel of Fortune. Vanna White mentioned that Christopher George was her uncle, Wow! I have always been a fan of his. I logged in to see if there might be a mention of this. I found your site and thought you might find that fascinating.

While traveling to New Mexico one summer, my family stopped in Tehachappi at a diner. We sat in a booth across from Christopher George and his wife. We didn't know this at the time, but my mom kept looking at her and wondering who she was. She looked familiar and my mom thought she was a teacher associate she knew. It wasn't until we left the diner my mom figured out it was George and his lovely wife, Linda! After our vacation and we came back to California, my folks told my older brother what had happened at the diner. My brother laughed and said,"You should have gone up to him and say 'Sgt. Troy, sir!'".

ya know, vanna is intresting..she really has talent as an actress, but wheel, that stupid wheel, consistantly pays the bills.poor girl, i feel for her in a way. and in another way, not.

I remember her talking about him in her book, but I can't remember how they're related. I think he told her she needed to lose weight when she first got to Hollywood.

No, they're not. Her mother was friends of his family. In some close friendships like that the kids call the adults of the other family Aunt and Uncle.
