I see people leave comments about miss Gummer. People write that she is ugly and good candidate for a nose job. what a silly remark
And what defines a perfect candidate for a nosejob.. Some people have small noses, some bigger and some croocked.
With that in mind what is the perfect face, look, nose, weight and so on and so on ?
Why do we feel the need to make remarks about peoples looks and if16d0 everyone would have a nosejob everyone would look the same. And then what, there will always be someone that has the need to be negative.
For me a good looking person is usually the one with a "flaw". I enjoy looking at a person whose imperfections make them beautiful. -

There's a difference between not understanding and disagreeing.
Oh I agree that women viewers are part of the problem. So basically you have both men and women demanding a certain look from women. But then you have women being a lot more forgiving of men's looks.

People like to put Meg Ryan, Sarah Jessica Parker and some others as average
Is comprehensive that SJP has strong features, so some people think she is unattractive, but this is unreal.
She always been thin, athletic and considered pretty by many. She isn't a good example. Meg is even worst: she was undeniably charming, charismatic, and FAR from ugly.
There is no comparison between the standards for men and the standards for women. -

There is a lot more pressure on women to look a certain way.
Pressure that they put upon themselves due to insecurities. That want to look a certain way, they don't have too.

She certainly did Mr H and didn't appear insecure or pressured to look at all like a hot bottom. She was divine in MOTEL HELL, when she was all dressed up for the picnic and almost gave Vincent's secret away. Not to mention how gorgeous she looked in her gym instructor uniform in PORKY'S.

Aww, yes Rascal. Lots of love for Nancy. Ida and Vincent were misunderstood.
The part where he punches her in the gut and she lets out that very strange sounding "Owwwoooop!" is priceless. -

How wonderful that we can share the love for Ida and Vincent, and on the Mamie Gummer board as well. Who would have thought. I wonder how Streep would have been in the Ida role, or perhaps she could have played Nina Axelrod's role as Vincent's new girl?
