— 1 year ago(February 27, 2025 06:21 PM)Extended Stay America had a chunk of the bill taken off this one month, but I forget why. Instead of $1,200-$1,300, it was $759.27. I have $1,211.51 left to start [my] savings again!
So, no, it will not be taken off April, which I reserved and can cancel. I am saving a lot or some of it and trying to get a job by then. After bills and necessary shopping, I may have $200 left, otherwise. So, now, I guess I will have almost $1,000 left, after bills. I'm also gonna go order my iPhone 16 most advanced type with lowest storage, which will be cheaper for whatever the reason was. I might not have to step in the store. Oh, and I'm not ordering food. I'm even going to a place to get free food for the poor, even today. I guess I'll order the phone and pay my bills.
I'm not buying stuff. I'm saving. I might do an excursion or visit a pizza restaurant when I'm ready to make sure I get these things in. I also will get a new membership at Planet Fitness. I plan to drop in for now at least one adult ballet class. I recover and it helps for whenever I can come back next and start going more. I see it as a "just reward" is all. I'm not that affected. It's like I got it, not like I don't deserve it or even didn't earn it.

it's your money to do what you want of course. but buying an iphone16? totally not essential.
you can get a perfectly good samsung S22 for $200 or less on amazon or ebay.
you go to the apple store and buy you're not saving. if you go to a carrier and buy you are LOCKED into the contract time. and even if you pay off the phone on the spot you are still obligated to run out the plan, usually 2 years minimum.
smartest solution to me: buy a samsung refurbed and classed as "very good" at a minimum. then go to mint mobile and get the 5gb/month plan. it's up front pricing so you pay for 3, 6 or 12 months. way cheaper than tmobile, att, verizon, even Metro. -
