48 years old is NOT old enough to play the Old Man Logan Storyline in the movie Logan 2017!
In fact, 48 yrs old is in his prime!

It is not the OLD MAN LOGAN storyline. But he is playing an aging and a weakened Wolverine/Logan in this movie. It is more character-driven than any other XMen movie and it is a welcome chance for Hugh Jackman to tell the story of the human side of Wolverine, hence the title LOGAN.
Hugh has portrayed older men in the past - one of his most successful was LES MISERABLES where he ages up to his 60's. The finale of that movie is one of the best scenes showing him old and fragile-looking. Excellent acting ( and singing despite teeth prosthetics
