Arrogant vulgar old man?

My cousins boyfriend is a camera man and one day over lunch he told us that he had worked with David Jason a couple of years back and what was to follow was truly shocking.
He proceeded to tell us that Mr. Jason was a terrible person and that the likable easy going character he so often portrays on tv is infact a total facade. Apparently hes amazingly arrogant and he gives no one any respect, he shouts at the crew for no good reason and baazar as it sounds he randomly burps obscenities at ppl!
Can this be true? can anyone back up what this guy was saying to us! i mean he had no resoan to lie.
I love fools and horses and a touch of Frost. I always thought David Jason was a top man, but now since this new information has come to pass i cant seem watch these shows is the same light.
Can anyone restore my faith in DJ?! pls, someone tell me something good about him, make it up if u have to! -

Well it isn't true as a matter of fact. If you've ever read the comments about David Jason by the cast, crew & extras who have worked with him then you would know that he's a quite shy person, but tries to put everyone at their ease by cracking jokes, etc. Where do they cook up such nonsense?
By the way labortius, the world has even more untalented a**holes - an even sadder fact of life. David Jason isn't one of them. -

I don't know and to be honest I don't care about his personality. As long as he is professonial which I assume he is after being in the tele-business for approximately 40 years and he keeps up his acting skills, then I'm completely satisfied. I also believe that you start getting grumpy when you've been asked like several times 'a day about this and that. -

And of course he should take time out of whatever it is he's doing (be it working, shopping, talking with someone or just walking down the street) JUST so you can have a picture with him.
Besides you ASKED for a photo - its perfectly reasonable for him to say no. And if something like that ruined your holiday, it can't have been up to much in the first place really! -

I can see why it would upset you. I can be really sensitive at times, and I bet it's all I'd have thought about for the rest of the holiday if I were only nine! I guess we just have to remember that celebrities are only human and have their moody moments. Thank goodness I'm not famous because I'm sure I'd be moaned about on these boards for the times I've been moody to strangers (though it rarely happens!).
