I wonder what the reason is why he hasn't done another sitcom since OFAH. Perhaps he knows he can't beat his previous success? It's a slight shame that he won't allow A Sharp Intake of Breath to be released or shown again. Only Fools is repeated ad infinitium, surely it could be put on some channel like comedy central. I've heard he won't allow it to be shown, but is still proud of it. Strange, because he could show there's more to him than OFAH and Open all Hours. I've never seen A Sharp Intake of Breath, but surely a sitcom with David Jason and Richard Wilson can't be bad?
