Heard the rumours online that she may be playing The Wasp next to Paul Rudd in Ant-Man, This will be a nice twist if it is, in the normal Avengers comicbooks shes caucasian, in the ultimate Avengers she half Asian, so if they cast her she'll be bi-racial! but let face it, Rashida can pass for white because until recently I didn't even know she was Quincy Jones daugther! but I really hope this one comes true, it's about time she had a high profile role.

Her ethnic makeup, though interesting, is the least of what I'll care about. She's racially ambiguous enough, they can do whatever they want with her.
If they go with her and Rudd, both known comedic actors, will that mean that Henry and Janet will be treated in a comedic, if not buffoonish way?
I can understand the temptation to treat it that way, with the power to shrink not measuring up on paper versus the "skill sets" of Thor and Iron Man. And one doesn't have to go 1980s grimdark to be respectable. But I would hope the taste of the producers leaned more toward enemies laughing now, crying later.
