Some interesting news has been announced today. Sorcerer is to be remade. As everyone knows it was directed by Dr.'s Kermode favourite director William Friedkin. The good doctor has made plain his distaste for all but one of the Exorcist sequeals and that was because it was directed by William Peter Blatty who wrote the novel. Though he can console himself as it is being directed by Ben Wheatly who is one of his favourite new directors.
