Going on about the original Straw Dogs, smirking like a schoolboy about Sucker Punch and distancing himself (like the other minor public schoolboy reviewers) on the off chance they may have been accused of finding young women attractive. The constant bigging up and quoting of the British censors. The thinly disguised christian moralising, the unthinking early seventies feminist stance.
