What a tragic year

I've been thinking the same thing a while ago. This year has been full of anticipations, disappointments, and tragic events. The pop girls coming out with albums, celebrity deaths, and the massive shootings. I'll say Trump has been the most devastating of this year. I have no doubt in my mind that 2016 will be the year that people will be talking about in many years to come!

Let's also not forget there was the Orlando shootings, the Harambe the gorilla tragedy, etc.
Y'know, this year, I wanted to have a better year this year. My year last year was mediocreI felt like all I did last year was rant on IMDB with people.
I wanted this year to be a more memorable year for me, and actually, earlier this year, I wanted, after I finished a semester of college, I wanted to form a local band and perform with this band for a few months and then the band breaks up and I go move to New York in pursue of my singing career, but I didn't.
Not to mention, I wonder if in past years, if people thought insert year here was an awful year for many reasons. Like in 1995, I wonder if people said 1995 was a bad year because of the Oklahoma City Bombings, the 1995 Chicago Heat Wave, the OJ Simpson trial, and we lost Jerry Garcia, Eazy E, Selena, Dean Martin, Lana Turner, Ginger Rogers, etc., or in 1999 when there was Columbine, Hurricane Lloyd, Woodstock 1999, and the deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr., Stanley Kubrick, Dusty Springfield, etc., or in 1994 when there was the Rwandan Genocide (where more people died than during 9/11), when OJ Simpson was accused of murder and the loss of Kurt Cobain. Plus, the Rwandan Genocide happened around the same time Kurt Cobain killed himself and was found dead a few days 2000later! -

Courtney Love murdered Kurt Cobain. He didn't commit suicide. That's well established now.
As far as years, it's all perception. Obviously good and bad happen every year. After all, this year has seemed like it totally sucked, but Trump got elected so we're flying high now! Yipee!
