Last year's musical "it girl" was Taylor Swift ("Bad Blood", that feud with Katy Perry, "1989" becoming a big success, etc.). The year before it was a tie between Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande (Iggy had success with "Fancy" and "Black Widow", Ariana had success with "Problem"), 2013 it was Miley Cyrus ("We Can't Stop", the 2013 MTV VMA's, "Wrecking Ball", etc.) and in 2012 it was Carly Rae Jepsen ("Call Me Maybe" being such a huge hit).
Who is this year's musical "it girl"? Selena Gomez? Demi Lovato? Ariana Grande with "Dangerous Woman"?
