I used to watch the TV show Alice when I was a kid in the late 70's and thought Linda Lavin's face looked familiar but couldn't figure out where I've seen her before until I recently watched Jaws again on blu-ray oh my god, she looked exactly like Roy Scheider!!

I just watched her on "Sean Saves The World" and immediately thought she looked & acted like Nancy Walker. I bet she based her character on Ida Morgenstern ("Rhoda").
