Not the best Bond, but infinitely more enjoyable than…

Bond is not about being tough, its the package, hip, smart, suave, debonair. the last thing Craig is is debonair and suave, he looks like a brute in a tuxedo. Brosnan had the perfect look just not the acting chops.
The sooner Craig is dispensed with in this role the better

I happen to find OHMSS my favorite Bond film. George was as good a Bond as any. I don't feel sorry nor do I pity him. Of all Bonds, he is the most enigmatic because of his turning out only one film that is the best of all of them. Here's to you sir!
Well said. -

OHMSS is one of the very best Bond films despite your personal hatred of it.
Exactly. And to call this plot ridiculous, which arguably has one of the more believable plots as far as Bond movies are concerned, is in fact ridiculous. -

I consider all Bond films watchable. At the same time, though, George comes across as a little stilted to me in many scenes. Then again, I'd be wlling to have seen him try it again with some refining after OHMSS. Brosnan is my personal fave in the previous continuity, and Craig is an entirely different/more plausible Bond world, so it doesn't work to compare him to the previous Bonds.

Sometimes this happens everything is written to be a masterpiece, production are ready, casting is done, suddenly on everyday the shots never combine well enough to make a good film.
bits are unbelievable, backgrounds are clearly sets, music does not fit, action too fast (but George was the most best actor to date in fighting, Daniel Craig second), the worst bit was the film gave a dreary headache feel, sound editing was weird, George proved at the screen where Diana Rigg dies he can really act, but the production crew fell short. -
