George Lazenby is the most underrated of all the Bonds, ever. The man was smashing in the part, big time! Best in the action scenes, best opening gun barrel sequence by far. Emoted wonderfully and convincingly in his performance in the most dramatic and poignant James Bond movie ever, playing 007 as a more 3 dimensional character true to the literary version, and as a first time star in a film to boot! And with the looks, style, and polish requisite for the part. The common criticism that he was the worst Bond is wholly undeserved. He was one of the very best, IMHO.
