Does everyone agree Uncle Leo is what he'll be forevered remembed by?

I think his playing Uncle Leo resurrected his career and earned him some real prestige for those of us that love comedy shows. The one aspect about Seinfeld for me unlike other shows is I remember certain quotes, dialogue or sayings. Guys like Uncle Leo, Newman, Puddy, Mickey Abbott, Soup Nazi, Mr. Steinbrunner and Mr. Wilhelm not to mention the Constanza's, Seinfeld's, Ross's, Jack Klompus, Bania, Kruger, Tim Whatley, Jackie Chiles, Lippman and Mr. Pitt. But the one character I think that should have got more air time because he was really good was Larry the black guy who was the Manager at Monk's. During the "Outing" when George is being loud and obnoxious, Larry comes over and says, "if you boys can't control yourselves, I'll have to ask you to leave" well that look on his face is priceless. He also made me laugh when Courteney Cox appeared on the wife episode and brings outside syrup into the cafe. He comes over and tells them they don't allow any outside jams, syrups or condiments into their cafe and he proceeds to say if they find them again, they will confiscate them. That is priceless dialogue. How many comedy shows do your remember this amount of great characters? Not many I bet.

He will probaly always be remembered best for Seinfeld, but I will remember him for the variety of off beat roles he played, including Get Smart. But I think I will most remember an appearance, while basically a tiny bit, I thought was hilarious, not because of anything he did, but the reaction to him. And that was on Bob Newhart when Bob was expecting an ex-con who turned out to be Henry Winkler. But first he sees Lesser coming off the elevator and because he looks very much like a gangster, Bob thinks he is the ex-con, but in a funny(and if you never saw it before) unexpected twist, Lesser is actually there looking for the plastic surgeon. That scene always makes me laugh, even after all these years and the scene took on a new feel after Lesser became kind of a cult figure because of Seinfeld. Such is the life of a career character actor. I was just thinking about how little appreciated these people are, but movies and TV shows would not be the same without the Len Lessers, Victor Moores, Charlie Ruggles and Sig Rumans.
