His performance in SOFTL is the creepiest thing I have ever seen on film. I have new respect for him. Thing is, I love Stottlemeyer. "Was she a great big fat woman," indeed!

He is a really good actor. I thought he was great on monk but my favorate performance was as alan shepard in from earth to the moon.

Silence of the Lambs was on tonight and I finally got that he was on Monk. It's going to make watching Monk a little more interesting.

I also loved that line, "Was she a great big fat person? It's the voice that totally makes that line."

Watching SILENCE OF THE LAMBS right now, for probably the 20th time. When Ted is putting on his makeup, then dancing aroung naked to that weird music, I still get chills watching him. He is so creepy.

And it freaks me out that it's him. Someone had to play the part, and he was good at it given that we didn't realize it was him.
I beep hate that film. Freaky story, ICK!

The music playing in the background is a song called "Goodbye,Horses". I posted a link to the video of the song and scenes in another post.

Where does Ted say "Was she a great big fat person?" Was that in an episode of Monk or in Silence of the Lambs?

SOTL. When Jody Foster is asking if he knows the one girl he killed.
Just watching Monk now and was totally freaked out that Buffalo Bill is the Captian.
                      Yikes!

"Was she a great big fat person"? .LOL I dunno why but the way he says that line cracks me up every time!
My husband and I laugh our heads off at that line every time!
Of course, I have known for years that Stottlemeyer was Buffalo Bill, but I still remember the first ti me I figured it out I was really surprised!
Ted Levine is one hell of an actor!
The more I talk to you, the more the pain floods back.
