After I saw him in SotL, I was sold. He's one of the best actors I've ever had the pleasure of watching, and (I hope) it's just a matter of time before he gets much-deserved superstar status!

I greatly admire his work, too, but would wish something different for him. It seems superstars live such difficult lives, full of stress and hype with very little privacy, so I wish for him a wonderful variety of character roles. That would keep his work interesting for both him and us, and would allow him a more normal family life tha2000n the superstars have.

I wish for him a wonderful variety of character roles.
Considering his roles since "
Monk
" ended ("
Shutter Island
,"
Hell on Wheels
," "
Luck
"), I think your wish for Ted is coming true.
I just finished the book "
Jimmy
" (which is scheduled to be released this year). I'm pretty sure Ted plays the title character's Grandpa. If the movie's anything like the book, I look forward to this character being Ted's most charming and endearing role.
I also read "
A Single Shot
" (the movie's scheduled to be released in 2013). It's a small part in the book, not much importance to the overall story, but who knows how the role evolves in filming? After all, the Warden as written in the book "
Shutter Island
" was, basically, a one-liner

You've talked me into it - I've just GOT to see "Jimmy." He would be totally awesome in a movie based on a book I read recently, entitled "Our Gal Cal." I can't think of a more perfect actor to play Leonard Rhoads than Ted.
