Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Rex Linn

    RichardStake — 20 years ago(May 21, 2005 10:11 PM)

There are a lot of good actors out there. Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman, to name a few. But none of them could hold a candle stick to thy Rez Linn. Because of him, I strive to quit my job a Wal-Mart and become an actor. His acting is so full of psychological depth and inner angst, I am in wonder on how the human race could produce such genius. Linn is a masterpiece of a human being. And to answer the reader's question, no I am not Rex, I'm his #1 fan that started a Rex Linn cult that meets every Tuesday behind the Seattle's Wal-mart back lot.

I agree totally. Rex makes me want to become a better man. His art is truly simply amazing. Being a part of that cult, I must say RichardStake is a great leader. We have about 26 members in our cult (It's growing fast!) and we watch about 5 rex linn films a week. I invite all of you to come. Who cares if you don't live in seattle, the p111clane ride is worth it! we have members representing all different countries, from Japan to Bangledesh to Cuba to Italy! Please join the rex linn cult that meets behind the seattle's Wal-mart. Every tuesday at abou 8 pm we eat rex linn inspired sushi and rex linn shaped cookies while watching classic linn fare such as rush hour (I've seen 47 times) or cliff hanger (Only a mere 31 times, I apologize)
Also, If you are Rex linn and is reading this post, please reply! It would mean a lot. The day you reply would be a holiday for us in the rex linn cult. We would celebrate it forever!

I love him in CLIFFHANGER and BREAKDOWN, great movies, great actor! He's a whole different person without his moustache, it makes all the difference IMO, bring it back Rex! :-|)

Sexy Rexy. He is da MAN! I wish I lived in Seattle because I would so be at the cult meeting. Consider me there in spirit.

He also does a fine job in Western films, as well. Check out "Last Stand at Sabre River", "Crossfire Trail", and "Monte Walsh", also starring Tom Selleck. He is also in the soon-to-be-released "Appaloosa", with Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris, IIRC.
