- a constantly hounding media and paparazzi tracking her every move when she was in her teens and early to mid 20s. so she was never able to grow up if you think about it. bc when she was in her important to growing up years she was in movies and being chased by the paparazzi. so her parents weren't really making her grow up bc she was in movies.
- her mom and her dad were stage parents meaning they were overbearing on her and controlling of her and her career and used her to make money for the which is the worst kind of parent bc they don't care about their kid and they are using them to make money for themselves.
heck her mom was a former failed actress so she used her daughter lindsay to in a way become famous herself and you can see she was desperate to become famous herself years after lindsay became famous when dina tried to become famous herself as a celebrity on her reality show with her other younger than lindsay daughter.
