                    • Jayne Mansfield (suprised she didn't get better starring movie rolls)
                    • Lana Turner (love "The Postman Always Rings Twice)
                    • Kim Novak (love "Vertigo" & "Picinic"
                    • Jean Harlow (really talented too)
                    • Betty Grable (like a doll - starred in aptly named "The Dolly Sisters"
                    • Scarlett Johannsen
                    • Lisa Marie (Mars Attacks, Ed Wood, Breast Men)
                    • Sandra Dee (Gorgeous in "A Summer Place")
                    • Traci Lords (saw her only in "Cry Baby" - she's a bombshell all right!

May I add the tragic Marie McDonald, 1923-1965? I never knew who she was until a Gene Kelly movie today. However, Jayne fans might know of her from "Promises! Promises!"? See:

Besides the already mentioned Italian actress Virna Lisi, I would add The Frenchies, Simone Simon, Madeleine Le Beau, & Bridget Bardot(only not of late though, so sad)!! I do think Jayne Mansfield and Virna lisi top the list of the prettiest actresses of all time!

For the overripe, curvy blonde look, I would say that technically Marilyn Monroe and Kim Novak were the most beautiful. Then Tuesday Weld, who was a very interesting actress with an unusual, distinctive style. Kim Basinger is another perfectly gorgeous woman.
Ursula Andress was exquisite, as well, but unfortunately kind of stiff and boring onscreen.
                                          Carroll Baker is terrific in
                                          Baby Doll
.but her body is actually quite scrawny! It's amazing she was sold as a bombshell later in her career, when she doesn't really have the body for it. (Though she could appear very lovely at times, and was very talented in a lot of assignments.)
                                          .
