And yeah, no. Though, it is within their power. They have access to the same spices, I would think. Their rivers have crawfish. They are near the sea, and have access to almost all the same seafood, if not all.
I'm glad the UK has Popeyes, and I know they're getting some American things. From what inheard from Brits who tried a bbq place there, it's not as good as the bbq from Texas, but it was still good. Hope they get more of our stuff. Maybe it'll inspire Brita to create something new.

Our biscuits are better than your scones… but I prefer British biscuits to most American cookies. I like that they're less sweet.
I kind of agree with foreigners that a lot of American stuff is too sweet.

Every country has good chefs and it's telling that a lot of them end up coming over to the US. Jamie Oliver kinda sucks. Have you seen him get roasted by Uncle Roger with how he makes fried rice? Even Ramseey is flawed. Did you see his grilled cheese video? Used the wrong kind of cheese. Didn't have a good melting point. It was still basically a brick lol. With burnt bread.
But I'm speaking on the common food. There are regions in the US like mine where you get good food at a gas station because it's so ingrained into our culture.

I'm forming my opinion from what I've gathered from Brits who come to the US and vice versa. According to British people, most places do not season the batter to their seafood.
The food is well known to be ****. This isn't exactky a hot take lol.

Who gives a **** about fame though? Good food isn't always about recognition. People are sleeping on a lot of good unknown food.
And I'm mostly talking about everyday food here.
Thia idea that the US is all fast food is retarded. We have a lot of it, but we also have a lot of good eating establishments, even in little holes in the wall. US is big and we have a lot of ****in stuff.

They are not internationally famous. The only actual famous names on that list are TV personalities who've never chefed in a restaurant. Chase and Prudjomme might be well known in some parts of the US, but nobody outside of the country will have ever heard of them.
US food is nothing special.
