For the joy and entertainment you gave your many fans over the years, we thank you. To me, you'll always be a hero!

Nice tribute, and very true, always our hero, Doug brought a lot of life to the many roles which he cleverly developed throughout his all-too-brief career.
Clearly, he fashioned his characters with many personal qualities, with his capable talents and timing, his zeal and zest for life, and his and his well-honed sense of humor.
Yes, we miss you, Doug, and thank you for your wonderful and well-received legacy of performances along the way.
