i was extremely disapponted. First off let me just say that Eva is gorgeous in person and really really skinny! But she doesnt not seem like a good person. They were filming at a fair in my town this weekend and i was an extra thursday and friday and both dates, she looked and acted miserable. Us extras were filming a scene where we were in a tent with her as we watched a motorcycle show and she bossed the crew around, showing them no respect, kept rolling her eyes at the extras who spend hours upon hours waiting to film HER freaking movie.None of the crew members seem to like her and she chain smokes like crazy. She didnt smile and just acted like she was beyond being where she was. She was wearing a blue sweater, she would toss to a crew member rudely everytime we were about to film.I was so excited to see her and I know shes famous and busy and there was like 75 extras but there was no reason to look like she did and come off like that. Ryan Gosling, on the another hand, is BY FAR the nicest celebrity ever. He is so cute and adorable. He went around to the extras, waving and smiling and thanked us for coming. He was joking around with the crew, hugging them and high fiving them. They seem to be comforable and loved him. He was joking aorund with everyone, smiling and waving. He ever ate in the same tent with the crew and extras when eva sat in her trailer.I love him, he was an amazing celebrity to meet!

Bradley Cooper was not there since the scene was the beginning of the movie when Ryan Gosling's character and Eva Mendes' meet. i heard he was in Saratoga for the day which is about 45 minutes away from where I live. I didnt know how Eva was gonna be but she turned out worse than I thought. I actually heard Bradley Cooper isnt very nice either but I havent even seen him around so I wouldnt know for sure

Wow really? I heard Bradley was one of the most down to earth guys ever! I bet if you meet him your mind will change. Good luck meeting him and others on set! I live in Massachusetts so there's no way I can visit the set

Who cares about this thread, Eva, or this nobody that stood in the background of some movie.
You can't base an opinion regarding someone's character one on singular event. This thread and threads like this are retarded, to put it mildly.
And you idiots responding with things like "too bad, I was hoping she would be nice" need to die in a fire.

gregg-67, but you base that Eva must be nice because you like her movies? What kind of logic is that? Explain what direct evidence you've gathered which shows that Eva is not as the thread starter witnessed?

Holy crapreally? If you're related to her and/or personally know and care about her, then I totally get your knee-jerk protectiveness. I am a non-performer from a family of actors & musicians with varying degrees of notoriety, and it is infuriating when I read message boards slamming them for stupid stuff (which is typically untrue, speculative, or subjective in the most brutal waysGRRRRR).. Yet: "you need to die in a fire!" doesn't seem equitable to online comments made in ignorance.
(Side note: having briefly worked in production as crew, extras really are treated like crap most of the time- unfairly so. During one film, I was told by another crew member, "Don't talk to the extras- they're cattle." I resisted the urge to punch that person in the boob, although I probably should have). -

I met Bradley when I was an extra (I was also an extra yesterday and today for a house party scene with Bradley's character's son, AJ) and he was so nice! He signed autographs for EVERYONE and took pictures and was just really, really nice. And one of the extras at the house party with me is an intern for the movie and she said that Bradley was staying in a house with his mom (how cute is he?!) and she also said that Eva just seemed like a complete bitch. She met her personally and said she didn't like her at all.

Why 'not surprised'? That's rather judgmental unless you know her. I am not sticking up for her as I don't know her either but it's not right to make an assumption based on observation. Just saying! Enjoy your day.

hmmmm. Ryan does seem like a cool and nice guy. I admit I find it odd that they're a couple, because from the interviews I've seen of her, she seems kind of uptight. I also have heard she had to go to rehab in the past for substance abuse problems.

@Dedicated
Um,she's had a career LONG before she met Gosling, and has already done films with some of the biggest stars around in box office hits like TRAINING DAY and HITCH (with Will Smith, Denzel,e.t.c.) she's dosen't need him anyway just to latch on for a careerpretty silly what you said, BTW. -

I've heard lots of nice things about Ryan Gosling. That's good considering he's been famous for years now - celebrity hasn't gotten to his head.
