I am a 12 year old with a spinal disease.
I met Jason Mewes at a convention once. I asked him to sign an autograph to pose for a photo. He refused, saying he had to "go home" and "have dinner" because he was "hungry".
When I expressed my discontent, he kicked my crutches away and stepped on my neck. I feel that because I am familiar with his acting work, I am a part owner of him, alongside other fans.
      I was very disappointed 😞

He was at the Mid Ohio Con this past weekend (Oct 4&5) and was pretty cool. He was signing for free (I got my J&SB 1 sheet & Mooby box) and was nice to everyone in line I saw including C-Knocker and Bluntman. His panel was very fun. He seemed humble and normal..

jake_anthony_watt-1, I actually burst out laughing when I read " . . . and stepped on my neck."

            It is true.
Also, as I lay weeping from the brutal neck-stepping, he then said: "Welcome to Hollywoodb68, baby!!!"
            I was very disillusioned 😞

SAME thing happened tonight. at a Horror Fest. but EVERYONE was selling autographs for $25even people who were in like 1 beep movie. BUT most the artists would atleast take a photo with ueven if u didnt buy anything.
but ya..Jason Mewes was cool but acted just like you said to everyone. people learned later he was sick with a coldbut i could tell he didnt want to be there.
thats fine i feel.but still it was cool to see him and talk shortly, but i moved on afterALLLLL dayBrian O'Halloran was soo chill with EVERYONE.
at times it was a really long line for Jason Mewes, but Brian ("Dante") had barely any.
but also..Brian got there much earlier, like one of the absolute first artist. It was cool to talk to him but i didnt know much to say although ive seen so much of his work. Just talked about Clerks, and his DVD that came out..stuff lik5b4e that.
So far (IMO) of the best artists there were:

              • Ken Foree (AWESOME GUY)
              • Brian O'Halloran (for being so laid back)
              • Tom Savini (funny and cool background for movies)
              • Tony Todd (Candyman..ok, i wanted to meet him just cause hes in a range of movies i like.but he is such a kick ass guy. he is WAAAAAAY different in person.)
              • Derek Mears (New "Jason"i had no interest in seeing himbut seeing HOW open and funny and kind to everyone, he was really cool)
              • Ashley Laurence (OMG, i did NOT think the cute main actress of Hellraiserwould be even HOTTER than when she was ON Hellraisershes like one of those actresses that should be known as the Sexiest Woman of the Year. BUTits not because she was attractive, its because shes very down to earth, and her smile made me so much happier somehow.)
              • Michael Beihn (he was the MAIN reason i wanted to go, but, he just seemed uninteresting to chat to. at one point i FINALLY bought the only ($25) autograph. talked to him for like 2 minutes and leftbut felt like, a guy who is in some of the most kick ass sci-fi movies, hes..kinda boring i guess. but he is really nice)
-Chris Sarandon (Interesting guy, but charging $25 for autograph and $10 for a picture i justdidnt talk to him much lol.)
              • Doug Bradley (Pinheadfor being so randomly in a spot where he just stood thereand its likeoh beep thatsPinhead)1c84
Others were good too, but seriouslyout of ALL the great people. Ken Foree was the most chillest person ive seen in a LONG time.
at 1 point hes like "are you guys buying anything or we gonna atleast share stories?? (there was pause lol)..Alright cus stories are fine with me, i have one."
he said like 2 stories in 10 minutes to a few of us that were over there..(well like 11) 1st story was about how the dude who played Mike Myerswas way too nice. that Ken had to talk beep about his mom to get him to act rougher to him.SO that scene where he dies in Halloween 2007 (which did kinda suck)..it was the guy being more pissed in real life lol.
2nd story, was how he lived in NYC across the street from Frank Lucas and his gang (American Gangster)and having to go through that street all the time frustrated him and his mom.and to see a huge crowd of people (his example was the auditorium we were in)became junkies and just got worse and worse.
Sohe was just so cool about everything else too. taking pics ALL the time (like most the other guests except about 4 that u HAD to pay for that too).
I always saw him in so many moviesBUT i didnt know HE was the from Dawn of the Dead.yet i watched that about a 8 times since i was a kid. Used to be my favorite movie.but i NEVER knew that guys name. so tonight i found out.
Others were good toobut just didnt talk to as much.
i gotta say thoughout of all the

Sent both him and Kevin Smith fan letters and Christmas cards a couple weeks ago. Haven't heard anything back yet, but they're probably too busy to write back.

Yeah I met him and talked with him over two days out at Full Moon Tattoo and Horror Fest in Nashville Tn a few weeks back. I was there with Elvira's Twin and Circus Envy. All in all cool guy and he was really nice to my son who kind of hung around him and talked to him off and on for two days. Well, when my son wasn't messing around with Kane Hodder or pestering his new buddy Joel Robinsonlol..he was nice to us and my kid so, major points there. He did seem a little out of it though, and had a big mark or something on his upper lip. He got a new tat on his leg on Sunday and was cleaning it up and putting ointment on it when we spoke to him Sunday afternoon and got pics with him and stuff. Jason spent a ton of time away from his table over Saturday and Sunday. While Candi Chaos and I were outside taking a smoke break he was outside singing and jumping around by himself about 7 or 8 feet away from us Sunday afternoonlol..
Circus Envy was walking down the hall back towards his room when he passed Jason in the hall and Envy jokingly said, "Hey man, what're you up to? Going to smoke some crack?" and Jason stopped and said, "Do you got some?" LMAO
Here's some pics we got with him:

I met him this past weekend at the Monster Mania convention in Connecticut.
And he was a prick. Sorry to all you Jay Mewes fans out there, but he was acting like a diva. He had his nose stuck up in the air. The only time his personality lit up was when my g/f and her best "check out my titties" shirt went over and said hi to him.but then as soon as he realized she wasn't gonna pay for an autograph and that she was with meit was like a switch went off and he was Super prick again.
And for those of you that believe the stories about him being sobered upforget it. I saw him at about 2am that night in front of the hotel. He was smacked up for sure. When I saw him coming down to the front door where everyone was standinghe was walking like he had palsy. Then when he got outside he was just stretching and pacing. And fumbling and bumbling. He was strung out. Poor guy, he needs to clean up his act before it's too late.

So is his autograph $25 everywhere? I'm hoping to meet him at the Hollywood Collectors show this month and just wondering how much I need to bring.
I know this is a dumb question, but does he cuss a lot when he talks to fans? My parents are going to be there with me along with my little sis and I don't want them to feel uncomfortable. I don't really have a problem with it but I know my parents will def be mad at me.

I met Jay in 1985 when I moved to Highlands, NJ. Knew him all through elementary AND high school. He spent every morning picking on me before school. After school, ignored me. lol He was in my sister's class, I was 2 years behind. Whenever I saw him on Bay Avenue alone, he was obscenely nice to me. He was and is still a character. Growing up with him, I can honestly say, he truly IS a good person, just has bad days, like the rest of us. Or even, bad moments. But he IS good. And very sweet. I still talk to him occasionally. He appreciates his fans more than you all seem to think. Don't judge someone from 3 minutes of talking. Try 10 years, maybe then you will earn that right. Take care.

I met him last week! He was a very sweet guy but visibly tired. He was a little awkward but I think maybe he feels nervous when talking to strangers? He seemed a little shy. But overall, he was great! And super HOT!! ha!

He said hi to those who recognized him and was polite adn talkative, I think you just met him while he had things to do, if he talked to everyone in line. you'd have been in line for 3 hours instead of 1.

My sister knows him and according to her he is a really nice guy. I've never met him so I can't say for myself, but he was always a really good friend to her. I think he is a good guy from what I've heard.
