Why hasn't she never wrote a book about her experience on Psycho? The best horror movie ever made. Less give an interview about it. To no one.
Janet Leigh was always willing and even wrote a book about it.
What is the mystery between this actress and this great filmmaker?
Something has happened. Something serious. An attitude like hers has a reason. Or many.
It seems she will die with the Truth.
Don't you think this is a real Hitch mystery too? Kind of funny. Special. -

Very interesting. I believe Hitch may have been in love with Vera. Remember Vertigo was to be done for Vera as a showcase but she became pregnant. They say Hitch was none too pleased and lost interest in the project (hence he was very indifferent to Kim).

I know this is an old thread, but I just finished reading Dark Side of Genius by Donald Spoto, a very interesting read BTW, and like the previous person said she had a falling out with Hitch over marrying and becoming pregnant. He saw himself as Pygmalion and basically wanted complete control over his "Galateas" as it were. If they didn't do everything he wanted them to do or thought they should do, he was very put out. This was the case with Miles. The final nail in the coffin (bad pun) for their relationship was when he commented that her having a third child was "obscene".
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
