Ugly!

Why should a model have to be a good example? Is society really so desperate that it has started looking to fashion models to teach girls how to behave? Models are hired for how they look, for photographing well and making clothes look good so why would anyone expect people hired for those reasons to be paragons of virtue? Its parents who should be an example to their kids not celebrities.

I don't think she's ugly but she definitely isn't pretty. She looks sloppy, like she stayed up all night snorting coke, passed out in a ditch then went to work the next day. I guess I'd rather look at her then Paris Hilton though.

These pictures should answer your question. Photographers love to work with her for a reason. She knows what she's doing when it comes to modeling. And it doesn't hurt that she's got the best legs EVER.

I think she's absolutely beautiful but in the end of the day it's just a question of taste. She has incredibly high cheekbones, almond shaped eyes and beautifullly shaped mouth. She has a little bit of the Brigitte Bardot about her but she is completely unique.

True, it all comes down to personal opinion and as a wise man once said "Opinions are like Kiss albums; Everybody's got one and they're all stupid."
I completely understand why some people don't "get" Kate. I used to be one of them. Back in the early '90s when she first started popping up on the fashion scene, I thought "How is this girl a model?" As I saw more of her work and saw how versatile she was, I started to understand. She's done some absolutely stunning editorials over the past 15 years. It didn't take long before she was my favorite model. But she IS an acquired taste. -

She was pretty when she was younger, but I hope people realise that a lot of pictures you have shown of her-to 'prove' how beautiful she is-have been ridiculously airbrushed. She is definetely losing her looks, down to drinking, smoking and also i think her nose has collapsed a little bit from using coke. She's not ugly, but not 'beautiful' anymore. If she cleans up a little bit (i agree that she looks scruffy a lot of the time) she could go back to being pretty.

I don't care if the girl photographs well, is easy to work with, or whatever other crap you guys wanna say, this b*tch is ugly, plain and simple. She does not look "unique," she looks beep weird and is a highly unattractive woman no matter how you wanna slice it.

I think she was pretty too when she was younger but now, she looks a bit haggard prob due to her coke habit etc. She's somewhat talked about way too much though to me.

Thank you so much for this brilliant response!
Perhaps it will put the bulk of Kate's naysayers to rest.
Kate Moss, quite simply, has a timeless and inexplicable quality that translates to print better than any of her peers. It's not just her look but her honest free-wheeling spirit that is captured so effortlessly.
