Sounds good, Id like to see him team up in a really dark comedy with like Billy Bob Thornton, and Michael Madsen or Arnold Vosloo where they are white-collar embezzlers or something. I've got to stop script writing in my head.

He has to be receiving offers, but he's probably choosing not to do much. I find it hard to believe that Ed O'Neill isn't working much. He's probably one of the few actors who didn't spend all his money. But yeah, I would love him to do something besides a cameo or tiny rolehe plays a cop welland there is always comedy.
There's always rumors of a new "Naked Gun" filmhe'd be perfect in that. Either as a cop or the new bad guyI would love to see him play a baddie in a comedy. -

It can be that he spent too much time doing Al Bundy, making it very hard for him to be taken for a character that's not related to it. Therefore we could also think he's part of the problem, should have left the show after two or three seasons to take care of his movie career. Instead of staying and taking the obvious risk of being Al Bundy forever.
But maybe he feels he had his moment in the sun, and now that he's more than sixty and probably filthy rich, he wants to take it cool. Looking after his daughters, spending time with his wife, personnel projects etc. And he's just coming back sometimes to have some fun.
Maybe life is a pain or maybe he wasn't brave enough to leave Al Bundy, but maybe it's his choice.
But he's a great actor and I would love to see him more in bigger parts. And I have to admit I would be DELIGHTED to be told a movie of Married with children is coming -

In a way, Ed O'Neil is like Carroll O'Connor. Two talented actors that kind of became type cast due to their legendary roles. Hopefully Ed will be able to kick of a new segment of his career, just like Carroll did a couple years down the road. I'm looking forward to Ed's new show.
