i noticed he didnt kiss peg often, but that was to be expected as he didnt like her. lol. but when they would get hot he would just climb on top of her kissing her cheek or have his face buried in her neck.
and now with gloria, they hardly ever kiss. gloria kissed phil longer than she does her own tv husband.
at first i thought it was the women, but now i think it's him. did anybody else notice this? is it out of respect for his wife? -

He's also in a couple of movies where he has a romantic thing going with someone but they never kiss either. And the few times he has I've noticed he doesn't seem all too comfortable with it and makes it just a brief peck.
