He even got to chose the movie he was going to use (Bruce Lee's The Big Boss), but the project got canned on pre-production and there's no plans to make it come back. Besides, Steve Oedekerk dosen't look so good, as he did back when he did the original KP, does he?

He could be posibly doing the sequel now since there is nothing new for his directing credits, I mean they were going through old Kung Fu movies before it was scrapped. They probably are still doing it but keeping it top secret.

OMG, he has to make a sequel!!! Kung Pw is one of my fave movies! It's weird. My bro hates it, so there's this really thin line between people who hate it and people who love it. Still, great stuff, please, please Steve get to work on that sequel. Everytime Na Na Na Na Na Na Neo, it cracks me up!

lmao now that its 8 years later from this post you can be sure kung pow wont be released..
kung pow was so terribly marketed, and they put the absolute least funny scenes in the trailers. I would have never, ever seen it if my buddy hadnt forced me to watch it.
I was blown away at how hilarious the movie was, but i cringed at the stupid "gopher-chucks" and the retarded cow fighting scene (how was that even funny/relevant?!).
there was so much genius in the movie just on basic jokes in between scenes "you will now refer to me by the name betty" come on!

damn so many great moments that so many will never see because whoever made that trailer had the most pathetic and lame sense of humour "yeah lets put this stuff in the trailer cause its the funniest parts, huhuheheuheue" -

It's not going to happen, unfortunately. I always thought the first one was hilarious, with the exception of a couple scenes, like the cow.. Anyways, it's been 13 years since the first Kung Pow and Oedekerk is too old and heavy now. At least we still have the first one to enjoy.
