Kung Pow is quite possibly the Worst film ever made…

I thought it was a funny movie. Apparently you missed a lot of the parody and layered humor 238(which is found in all of his movies). I wouldn't consider myself mentally dissabled or however you put it (Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Marketing; I work for a prestigious marketing company in Minnesota). I can see why some people wouldn't like this movie (I'm not arguing that point), but I have seen tons of old kung fu movies and I think he really nailed the parody. Steve Oedekerk has a huge cult following apparently there are other people who like him, too.

You think because you have a BD that you are not mentally dissabled? Mean's nothing mate, seeing as you spelt disabled wrong
He hasn't 'nailed' anything, in fact he has completely missed it and hit his own thumb!! What he has done is make a movie that will speak to HIS fans and make HIS fans laugh not make a parady of kung fu films!
Of course there are other people who like him but there are people who like 'Bridget Jones' or 'XXX', doesn't make them good films!!

OOOOOh Easy tiger!
Have I upset you?!!
I don't decide what films are good or bad but I know my Kung Fu genre and this film is for the tourists who THINK this is a spoof of the Kung Fu genre! I'll agree its stupid but man, it's not funny Give me a scene or a line that you think is funny from this film then you can tell me some funny lines from 'Mafia' or 'Silence of the Hams' or 'Wrongfully accused' because if you think Kung Pow is 'FUNNY' then the other films MUST be in your collection!

Oh yes and one other thing SUPERJOIN I couldn't have an opinion if I hadn't of WATCHED the movie, the reason I watched it was because it claimed to be a 'Spoof' of the Kung Fu genre and because It was such a lame effort at a movie let alone a spoof of Kung Fu I had to air my views on IMDbthat's what its here for

Oh! Just because you were far too stupid to get the spoof, you insult anyone who appreciates his work!
Steve "Big O" Oedekerk is a cult genius! I have a good friend who works for him btw a5b4s a video editor, I myself am a part owner of a direct marketting firm/hosting company/web design company/gfx design company, and guess what?! I do all of the above myself! I am hardly mentally disabled!
Whee oh whee was mrs. piggy's little catch phrase so to speak!! spoof on that!, some idiots think neosporin can heal heavy injuries! spoof on that!, The guy sounding like the taco bell dog made the whole taco bell song priceless!, It was silly light hearted parody filled humor! A step back from the hollywood mainstream!! Steve is brilliant!! I just feel like logging your IP address, hunting you down! and slapping you like a redheaded stepchild with a white rubber glove, while curseing in french! hmm while im at it I could dress in a striped shirt and wear a beret! and get one of those curly moustaches!

"By the way, I'm British and we don't watch s h i t like the Muppets".
Hey! You shouldnt generalise like that! Maybe you personally didnt like it. Im british, and i loved the Muppets! Id watch it with my family every evening and was sad when it finished.
Back to the point, this film killed me. Ok, i agree that maybe the dubbing was annoying, but that was the beauty of it. This film is anoyingly funny. I watched it together with my friend and it killed me. Hahahaha.
peace out! make love not war -

you British these days have grown so alike to American what happened to all the mild mannered british meatbags of the 20th Century. People over there watch muppets not all but some so you can't say "we" unless your reffering to your family then be more specific next time, and you can't say I don't know what I'm talking about when I speak of the British like that Because my ancestors were British even if I am Hispanic

Clearly one of the worst films ever made. "Cult" following? When will this cult drink the Kool-Aid and end their misery?
Oedekerk is a hack. His material reminds me of stuff my friends thought was funny - when I was twelve.
I will see his Kung Pow II - only to see if I can actually handle the pain.

Hahaha! Oh, dear in addition to his moronic "spelling", the idiot above just proved how pathetically empty its "brain" is as far as basic Net technology goes. It cannot spell - i.e. it has no clue of humanistic arts; it has no understanding of the Net - i.e. it has no clue of technology. What good is this thing, then? Will someone perform an act of euthanasia on it?
(It's a typical oedesomethingorother fan, actually - arrested development. Mentally unable to conjure a coherent sentence, enjoying the kind of "humor" that would make an 8 year old wince in embarrassment, slobbering as his half-filled "brain" tries to excrete a witty insult and gives up, settling on a string of misspelled curses instead) -

YOU MISPELLED PARODY JACKASS/Retard
It's always funny when someone misspells 'misspelled'
Just saw this movie, thought it was kinda funny. At least the totally ridiculous bits like fighting cows, one-boobed women and throwing babies down hills. Nothing original about the whole idea, though.
BTW IM RILLI SMART COS IM TEH PRESSEDENT OF THE UNTED STATESD AN I ONSE LANDED A PLANE ALMOST ALL BY MISELF SO THERE -

I understood the parodyand layered humor and though I love his other work sans the thumb stuff I found this movie to miss the mark. I was really looking forward to this film and I still have hope for the sequel.
