Why the Nerd Rage against him?

Well they dubbed his voice in Star Wars: TPM. But it was only like three lines. The rest was him acting quite effectively in a menacing manner without using his voice. He did more effectiveacting IMO then Hayden C did as Anakin. Now there's a guy who can't act and thus really hurt the prequels.

i had no idea their was nerd rage against Ray Park. that is so pathetic as a guy i think he is amazing and one of the only reasons i am actually going to go watch G.I. Joe. i think he is amazing and so does my friends. Even though he had only like seconds in Fanboys i was pumped to see him in it and thought his secs of screen time were funny as hell pulling out the night sticks and twilrling and everything that was sick. People who are mad at Ray Park should get over it he is way good and better than many he would make a better Batman than Bale i believe after reading that blog of someones. He is talented and you nerd ragers jsut get over yourself and stop being mad at a skilled person tht could beat you in less than 10 seconds flat with one hand as he is a very skilled martial artist

I agree. Ray Park's about average height, right? 5' 9" or so. Yet we actually have a bunch of tools out there saying that he's SHORT? Did these people NOT see The Phantom Menace? Darth Maul isn't short, and he wasn't wearing lifts either.
Like you said, Liam Neeson's a fairly tall dude. But the irony of it is that Ewan MacGregor had more side-by-side-with-Liam-Neeson screentime than Ray Park did. So where are all the nerds doodling up lame "Ewan MacGregor is short" webcomics?
It just doesn't sound fair, does it? Ray Park must have parked his car in some socially powerful, movie-reviewing super-nerd's reserved parking space or something. There's no other explanation.

people love to complain. you have to remember that the vast majority of his haters are fat, bespectacled goofs who can't even do a push up, so naturally when they see a thin, handsome man doing acrobatics they're going to be jealous, it's no big mystery, just classic envy. park has potential, i don't see him as batman, but that's a very specific role, the days of keaton or keaton-looking actors as the dark knight are over, christian bales' success has pretty much ensured that any future screen interpretations of batman will feature 6-foot plus actors with classically handsome looks. parks' martial arts prowess will serve him well though, mma has really brought public interest in the fighting arts to a fever pitch, and iron fist, or any similar film with a martial arts expert leading man, would be an ideal vehicle for park. it may be just a matter of him needing to be more selective, at 35 years old it's time to stop accepting roles as the go-to karate guy lurking in the background doing backflips. even snake eyes may have been a mistake, as popular as the character is, it was another silent warrior role, only adding to the public perception of park as a mute acrobat with no aptitude for dialogue.

It's good to see people who can think! Ray Park is awesome martial artist, as for his acting no one gave him the chance to act. I am sure he can do it. Just give him a good role, i mean leading role not just stunt double for stupid stars.
