Payne signed a petition to demand the release of Roman Polanski, a man who drugged, then forcibly orally, vaginally, and anally raped a 13 year old girl while she pleaded "no" repeatedly for him to stop. Not only that, he still expresses no remorse for his actions, just look at this statement he made after running away to France to avoid arrest:
If I had killed somebody, it wouldnt have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But fing, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to f young girls. Juries want to f young girls. Everyone wants to f young girls! - Roman Polanski

Signing a petition in support of this despicable man is indefensible. What kind of man would be on this sick bastard's side?

The girl he raped has forgiven Polanski and asked that he not be arrested. Not to mention the girl's mother said it was ok for the girl to drink, do drugs, and spend time with him.
But I'm sure you knew all that right? Not just "Polanski's a rapist. Lock him up. Facts? Who cares." -

These anti-Polanski people are very annoying. Their agenda is no longer, if it ever was, about supporting the girl he allegedly raped. They seem to have twisted into their own agenda, despite the victim having forgiven him. If she can forgive him then these people who claim to support her should also forgive him, otherwise, they are fighting a futile fight.
