A friend of a friend of a friend? Well, then, it MUST be true.
Did you hear my eyes rolling just now?
I just met the dude. He's straight. Since 99% of my male friends are gay, I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference.
so what if he is 35 and single? That means nothing. Nor does his being in DuPont Circle at 4 am or whatever.that's a tourist area!

This post is old as hell but
I just saw an interview he did a few months ago where he said he wants to get married and have kids, and he's been so focused on accomplishing his goals that he hadn't taken relationships seriously but now wants to meet a nice girl in the next few years. Granted, that could be straight BS, but I know he did another interview for a late night show on one of the news networks and he was talking about using his having worked at the WH as a pick up line to get girls. Again, that could be closet talk, but I'd think someone who is as progressive as he is and as involved in political justice, he'd have come out by now?

        Yep, agreed. You are right.
A new friend I met has slept with him a few times a few years ago and became close, but nothing materialised.
He's obviously not ready to tell the world or people, so I suppose he will stay in the closet for a long time
