What's up with Joe bailing the Yahoo fundraiser on The Apperntice over some Union Nonsense? What's the story?

Sort of a cliffhanger right now- But it does appear that he has backed out at the twelth hour.
I really do not think that the Apprentice Contestant should be help responsible though, as she did not choose him as the MC- The Trump Org. told her that he was to be the MC plain and simple. -

It looks like Piscopo got a call from "the boys" about working at a non union gig. Piscopo likes to think of himself as "connected" and maybe he is.
The story I heard was thst when he and Devito were filming "Wiseguys" Scorsese wanted to use the same title for "Goodfellas" since that was the name of the book the movie was based on. So the story goes that they had to get together for a cup of coffee and I guess Joes guys had more weight because they got to use the name.
Please be quiet in the movie theatre. -

I'm positive that this is just a roadblock jammed into the contestants way. Like the loss of Jessica Simpson, they need to make it look like these things can't go off without a hitch. It will all work out in the end. Honestly The Apprentence is a Union TV program and all the cameramen and producers are Union. Donald Trump is a union actor, so I don't know how or why they would need union approval. I'll guess it's a producer created foible.

I ultimately blame the charitably-challenged Yahoo people for Rebecca's loss. It had nothing to do with Piscopo. Who cared if he showed up? But I also thought it was a phony "crisis" and he would eventually appear. What a dope. I'm not buying the union thing, either. He finally gets some publicity and he blows it.
