When an actor nails an out of character role so impeccably like he did in Breaking Bad it sticks with you, so when I see "Jesse Plemons" in a cast list I'm immediately interested, and I'm sure casting directors are aware of that.
But what's this got to do with the CIO? -

Yeah I guess it could be that. Gosh, or maybe I just don't like him. I don't like Bill Paxton either does that mean the same thing? People like certain actors and don't like others so chill out and have a beer or something.
I will say i'm enjoying his performance in Fargo so maybe he's growing on me. Is that okay you beep?? -

C'mon - Kirsten Dunst was the standout performance in season 2, but Jesse more than held his own. I had no opinion of him as an actor when I first saw him in Breaking Bad, but it's clear to me now that he's pretty good.

To go from Friday night lights to Breaking Bad to Fargo and quite a few good movie roles, I'd say he's beyond decent. No he's not Leonardo DeCaprio but5b4 he does have a wide range of acting skills. Starting with Friday Night lights which I associate him most with, he's absolutely the funniest part of that show when it calls for it. Breaking Bad he's the exact opposite as a psychopathic sociopath. And Fargo he's good, but I agree Dunst is probably better. Then look at his movie roles (he's only 27), Black Mass he's on the cover with the rest of the ensemble, Bridge of Spies, The Master he did a fine job in, and a few others I haven't seen. Any way point is he's still very young his first role he was 11 or so which is rare for many kid actors to continue acting into adulthood. Again he's not necessarily a fantastic actor but he's very good. Some others I can think of who started as kids and are now A-list actors. Some examples Leo, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Elijah Wood, and others. Even Kirsten Dunst started when she was very young. So anyway, I hope Jesse keeps getting good roles and becomes more recognized as a fine actor as he gets older, hopefully along with some of those names I mentioned or at least close.
