He is a gifted character actor and has an unmistakable voice and a presence that can go the range from avuncular to intellectual to threatening as he did in one role as the Marine judge in "A Few Good Men." I also thought he was brilliant as a reporter for an African-American newspaper in "The Court Martial of Jackie Robinson."

Ever see " Body Heat"? Fantastic performance. He dominates all his scenes with William Hurt. Promise you will not be dissapointed. He definitely deserves more notice.

Well put, hilo. Hs performance in Body Heat was exceptional, too. He gave his character a personality that was integral to the intereactions and story line of that auspicious movie. What can I say? I just think he's a terrific character actor with a delightful personality. When his face pops up you know you're in for an interesting followup. He always gets my thumb up. Cheers.
