Is this not getting out of hand?
It’s bullshit that I must think about how much to pay someone for a service that has what is basically just a portion of the true price explicitly listed out. Thanks Joe Biden

It's not a tip if it's expected of me.
A tip is what I give you to show my appreciation if I decide you went above and beyond the reasonable expectations of your job description.

That’s no longer what it is, though.
Now it’s become consumer-supplied compensation for work performed and it’s damn near required. You can get banned from places for not tipping (allegedly, I wouldn’t know)
        Stop.

Yes and it's ridiculous. I have to pay the corporation and also their employee? Why am I footing some of the bill for their employee's wage? If you're the type of person who performs the task that is expected and complains when you aren't tipped, might I recommend blowing your brains out?

I'm still salty about a £40 tip I got at my old job. The manager took it off me to "share with the whole team" even tho half of them didn't work with me lol and I never saw it again. Not even a box of chocolates. Fat **** probably spent it on her awful lash extensions.

Nah, thank all capitalists for that. They find every loophole not to pay workers a decent wage and squeeze every penny from the customer.

Friend wanted Starbucks hot chocolate while we were out, so I drive to the drive-through. On the pay screen, there was a tip option with 18%, 20%, 25%, you could put in your own, or NONE….on a drive-through order for a hot chocolate? AND on the counter of the drive-through pickup window was a glass jar with cash tips in it! It is out of control. The minimum wage was raised to $15, so retailers raise their prices, cost of living is more expensive, so the general public has to supplement their income. No.
