OMG I missed your passing. RIP. You saved Hill Street blues for me. When Phil Esterhaus died I thought that was the end. You proved me wrong. I'm so saddened by your passing. You were youtself you never tried to be him you were yourself. I loved you for that alone.

My late father who was the same age as Mr. Prosky did a commercial film for Dupont called "The Fable of Fabian Jones" waaaaaay back in the 50's. Prosky played an angel who comes into a greasy spoon diner and tells the owner his business can be improved if he used Dupont products. My Dad played a shabbily dressed customer trying to get a cup of coffee but no one would wait on him. After taking Prosky's advice the owner upgrades his diner and flash forward to a much better dressed group of cutomers in suits and ties, except for my Dad who was still just as shabby and STILL couldn't get his cup of coffee. He always told us about it whenever we saw a movie or TV show with Prosky in it.
Just thought I'd share that. May he rest in peace.
